Kirtan is a call and response singing of mantras of gratitude and love. It is a beautiful group experience of active meditation. No previous experience needed and one can also just come and listen and have a calming, harmonizing experience of voices coming together. Led by Michael and accompanied by Kim LeClaire on drums.

TRE® & Yoga workshop
This practice combines yoga & TRE® which stimulates the body’s natural, therapeutic shaking response. This shaking response in humans, much the same as the instinctual shaking in animals (read: dog in a thunderstorm), is the nervous system’s way of discharging long-held tension, or unconscious muscle contractions held in the body (sometimes as a result of accumulated stress, trauma, injury, surgery, or habitual contraction patterns/poor posture) in order to restore the body to the felt sense of wholeness. When the nervous system identifies threat, vibration or shaking in the body is designed to occur automatically. However, negative social constructs and beliefs around what it means to allow ourselves to shake, tremor, or show vulnerability, condition us out of this innate release mechanism at an early age. TRE® reawakens our body’s intrinsic release mechanism for optimal health.
TRE® & Yoga is a simple, gentle and profound practice that facilitates the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas muscle and the release of physical and emotional stress and tension. During this TRE® & Yoga workshop, you will learn about the stress response, polyvagal theory and how yoga and TRE can support a healthy nervous system. I will then guide you through a series of exercises and yoga postures designed to elicit the tremor response. TRE is intended to be used as a self-help method that is easily learned, has immediate effects and can be integrated into a simple daily routine to help restore a sense of inner-peace and relaxation. Imagine a flowing silk elevating your yoga practice by offering support and grace to the postures. Aerial yoga is both playful, and restorative. It can be as energetic or calming as you wish! With the support of the silks we explore known postures and our ability to trust and try new things! It brings out our inner child and may help us push through fears and barriers we didn’t even know we had. It offers new perspectives and elements of our yoga practice through the dance we have with the silk.
MALA BEADS & CHAKRAS (Winter Retreat a la carte)

Mala (japamala) beads have been used for centuries for mantra meditations or prayers, drawing on the energetic properties of semi precious stones.With the use of semi precious stone beads we will create a bracelet that will represent different chakras and can be used for meditation. Anh Thu brings a wealth of knowledge of the properties of the stones and meditative practices using the mala beads.
RESTORATIVE YOGA (Winter Retreat a la carte)

Restorative Yoga with option for 'hands on assists' with Kim LeClaire and
Jess Wimett, LMT. Experience complete relaxation in just a few hours at this weekend workshop of Restorative Yoga - the gentle art of relaxing the body and mind without much physical movement or effort. In the quiet, soothing yoga space each posture is set up with pillows, bolsters, blankets and other props to support you while intentionally breathing and releasing tension in specific areas. As you are gently guided from posture to posture this healing practice allows you to go deeper in each restful pose. You will come away with a sense of quiet calm while also feeling energized - restored.
