Coming back to gratitude.
When I think back, I feel very fortunate that our spinal cords have evolved the way that they have. If you have ever had any back pain, you know that it is temporary. If you are experiencing back pain, remember that it is temporary. Patanjali claims in the Yoga Sutras that yoga prevents future suffering (YS II 16).
I am very grateful that when we come back to our practice, we can count on our spines always doing something. When we make friends with our "backs", our future always looks a little brighter. This workshop/playdate will focus on some fundamentals for back care, which is an essential form of self care. Your future self will be glad that you practiced.

RESTORATIVE WITH MASSAGE

Experience complete relaxation in just a few hours at this weekend workshop of Restorative Yoga - the gentle art of relaxing the body and mind without much physical movement or effort. In the quiet, soothing yoga space each posture is set up with pillows, bolsters, blankets and other props to support you while intentionally breathing and releasing tension in specific areas. As you are gently guided from posture to posture this healing practice allows you to go deeper in each restful pose. You will come away with a sense of quiet calm while also feeling energized - restored.

Prior yoga experience is not required
