Join Nora Nadire, founder of Notes of Balance, for an aromatherapy workshop. Aromatherapy is the practice of using scent to directly affect and benefit the body, mind, or spirit. It can be used in combination with many other forms of wellness care. Nora is passionate about sharing the nuances of aroma through the use of essential oils, as well as the healing elements of carrier oils, herbs, and other natural medicinal materials.
In this workshop, participants will explore their own scent preferences and learn how to blend multiple essential oils to create a synergy. The blend will be put into a personalized roller bottle, to be taken home. This synergy of essential oils can be used therapeutically and can be integrated into daily life moving forward, incorporated into a yoga or meditation practice, and so on.
Nora founded Notes of Balance with the intention to help others access their own unique inner and outer balance. Among other elements such as music and yoga, she shares her aromatherapy knowledge both through in-person consultations and the Notes of Balance body line. All products are made by hand and use natural ingredients: the body line includes essential oil rollers, salves, facial mists, body oils, yoga mat sprays, and more.

Experience complete relaxation in just a few hours at this weekend workshop of Restorative Yoga - the gentle art of relaxing the body and mind without much physical movement or effort. In the quiet, soothing yoga space each posture is set up with pillows, bolsters, blankets and other props to support you while intentionally breathing and releasing tension in specific areas. As you are gently guided from posture to posture this healing practice allows you to go deeper in each restful pose. You will come away with a sense of quiet calm while also feeling energized - restored.
Prior yoga experience is not required.
