ACCOMMODATIONS AND MEALS AT PYRC

We offer a range of accommodations to fit your needs during your retreat.

LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR ACCOMMODATIONS or look into your own accommodations locally. There are some very nice places to stay within a half hour or less of the studio. Please feel free to contact robingucker@gmail.com for recommendations.

OUR HOME

Just steps away from the studio we have a spacious home nestled in the forest, beside Augur Lake.

We are thrilled to share our home with 3 bedroom options; two private rooms, for a couple or single person, and one room with the possibility of a shared space for two people, or a couple. The bathroom facility is shared, with the option to use the studio bathroom with a shower, towels and toilet.

Just off the porch is a sitting area and hot tub to enjoy on chilly evenings or first thing in the am.

We have a young English Cream Retriever who comes with the stay. She loves people, but if dogs are not your cup of tea you may want to stay off site in many of the local accommodations.

OUR LAKESIDE CABIN

Is available for one person or a couple during Summer Retreats. This is a short walk down the lake hill trail, through the towering hemlocks to a secluded cabin with a double bed. There is no electricity, and no running water. An outhouse is just behind the cabin.

This is a great place to listen to the call of the loons and the lapping of the water on the shore, and relax dockside on the boulder or Adirondack chair. Swimming and paddling are also a wonderful way to relax.

CAMPING AND COMMON SPACES

Camping is welcomed in designated areas just beyond the yard.

All guests are welcomed to enjoy the following common areas during their stay. A sunken living room and porch offer quiet places to journal, read, reflect or socialize with other Retreat participants. Swimming and then resting in the hammock by the lake are wonderful opportunities to enjoy the water.

A three story fireplace with a wood stove insert is the centerpiece of the house and provides a cozy sitting area in between classes, should the weather turn cold.

The bathroom in the studio is open for campers to use.

We hope you will feel right at home with us.
